ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Navajo artisan Randall Endito grew up in a family of silversmiths & learned his techniques from his well known parents (Randy Endito is his father & his mother is Etta Endito)
Born in Gallup on Jan.1,1980 to the Tangle Water into Bitter Clan,Randall continues to live & work in New Mexico which he calls home.. Randall's clean lines,detailed stamping & scroll work, gives him his unique style & makes patrons of Southwest jewelry, always being delighted with anything he brings to the table! He can make anything you put in front of him & although we know him for his traditional Navajo jewelry,he can then turn around & give us some wonderful contemporary pieces as well!

DESCRIPTION:
Powerfully stunning on, this necklace is designed with the ever so popular Kazakhstan-Golden Hills Turquoise,which is some of the prettiest turquoise being mined outside the USA. It is known for it's lavender undertones & it's distinct warm brown matrix patterns.It's blue color actually differs from the blues that come out of our USA mines...

Made in a "Turquoise-Cross" theme that has a true southwestern edginess, Randall worked his expertise with this one by making it a real eye catcher!! And with this necklace, I actually don't know what's prettier, the turquoise or the beautiful silvery gray matte finishing he gave the sterling !! I think one brings out the beauty of the other, but he really made the sterling shine & brought it to it's most maximum level of beauty!

The design consists of 7 turquoise panels & then he added a cross on each end that leads to the chain..Beads fill in each corner of the crosses to form a square...These beads compliment the beading that lay at the bottom of the turquoise panels. The only thing that changes from one panel to the next, is the size or shape of the stone. Everything is laid on a backing of sterling & all the panels have a twisted wire wrapping, graduating beads that are made by melting the sterling & the 5/8" cross that sit’s in between the beads that lay in each panel.

The necklace is finalized with Randall's hand made link chain that he made himself & that also works as an extender. So you can wear it at it's full 17.50" length or wear it shorter! Even the hook for the closure is hand made!!

It's not a weighty necklace that's going to hurt & bother the neck,but rather having a very comfortable weight it. This can be worn with a variety of different wardrobes, where it'll go perfect with some faded ripped denim & boots to your sexiest black dress!!
