Reticulation is a process that gives the metal a texture.The jeweler has to be skilled at this technique,since lots of heat is used to create the piece.It's a a process very similar to removing firescale, where the metal is repeatedly heated and quenched and pickled.The technique of reticulation is a one of a kind process & you never know what’s going to happen and what happens, can never be repeated..Each piece is like a fingerprint & has it's own identity.No two pieces of reticulation are the same and even within the same piece, a pattern can be very regular, but will never have a true repeated design.This technique is extremely time consuming & takes knowledge & skill to achieve the final result!

This has  a fabulous metallic finish & seems to make the sterling stand out like nothing you've seen before!

DESCRIPTION:

This is a winning necklace all the way around & might be the only necklace you may want to wear! Not only does it lay on the neck socomfortable that you hardly know you have it on,but the design is absolutely magnificent & so perfectly made! With so much jewelry out there,some are made so big that you can't wait to take them off,while others are too dainty to be seen & admired..This is the perfect size that follows the neck & has a heavy metallic appearance & is a "just enough" size..It's glamorous,very sophisticated,Cleopatra,if not Maya looking.

The focus is on the center that has a 7" total width & is 2" tall.The center panels have a trapezoid shape,while the rest are rectangular.Each section has a polished finished bezel border that has been hand hammered,so there is a tad of additional sparkle. What helps this to feel so comfortable is the fact that it lays flat against the skin because of the flat backside & seems to adjust to the curvature of the body of the person who wears it!The O rings also helps this to fold up nice for travel!(See last photos) Watch this come to life when worn with anything black!!
