The turquoise comes Larry Cooleys turquoise collection, who collected & sold nothing BUT the finest,premium turquoise! The stones were mined back in the 50's-60's so the stones of course, are high grade & natural,since he only had the best quality on hand & they didn't treat turquoise at the time the stones were mined.(Please see my Federico listings with Cooley's turquoise to learn more)

Made with both Kingman & Royston mines,with the "faces" being from Kingman & the headdress being both Kingman & Royston,which lends itself to having some contast to the overall look.The size of each of the stones are SO generous in size, so the necklace is really chunky looking & no way will it go un-noticed! There is a hefty amount of carat weight per stone & on today's market for this quality,would cost a pretty penny & actually might even be higher in price than what I'm asking for,especially when you add the cost of the sterling,the time to make & then of course the name!

It's made with uncalibrated-free form cuts that are not meant to match perfectly in size & shape,as much as they are in color & the mines from which they came. It's made with 7 “Squash Blossom's” that are both tall & wide & are strung through a double strand of 8 mm sterling beads that are threaded through on the backside for balance.(See photos) It ends with a single strand that measures 3-3/8" per side(Without hook & eye closure)
