I have carried numerous pieces of Federico’s pearl jewelry for many years now — from perfectly round pearls to chunky smaller sized baroques and everything in between — and I say this with complete honesty: I have never, ever been able to offer my customers baroque pearls like the ones that are in this particular necklace! I must say, it’s actually a necklace you have to have in hand to witness the over the top luster & exquisite beauty the pearls have!! No feminine attribute would dare be left out when you wear a necklace like this — it is simply so elegant, refined, and unmistakably sophisticated.

THE NECKLACE:
I would call this the ULTIMATE pearl necklace! It’s a real pearl clutcher (and I mean that literally), and it is definitely not your average pearl necklace you’ll see flooded all over the internet or hanging in every gallery. Because each pearl shows its own character and free-form natural shape, this piece is truly one-of-a-kind, giving it an unmistakable, fingerprint-like identity that sets it apart.
What plays a dominant role in its beauty is not only the pearl’s one-of-a-kind character, but also the subtle silvery-white to pinkish undertones that the pearls display. From a distance they appear simply white, but when you hold the necklace in your hand or view it up close, those delicate silvery tones become clearly visible.
It’s made with an 8 panel neckline, and what determines the size of each panel is primarily the size of the large center pearl. Some of those center pearls are somewhat squarish in shape, while others display an extended “lip” that adds extra length to those pearls (see photos). These panels vary in height, ranging from approximately 1-3/4” up to about 2” tall. Each panel is surrounded by a halo cluster of irregularly shaped, naturally formed small baroque pearls, each with its own one-of-a-kind character. The additional 9th center panel, is uniquely different, since not only does it feature a square-shaped baroque with 4 smaller baroques at the bottom, it is also accented with linear shaped “Japanese Biwa” pearls that give it a crown-like appearance. 5 round coin pearls lead to the closure, which secures with a push-in/pull-out style clasp.
It’s neither too long, nor is it too short, and it sits high enough where the eyes of all those viewers will go! This piece makes an ideal necklace for any elegant event, day or night, and would beautifully complement a bride-to-be, mother of the bride, or any guest looking to add a refined, radiant & very feminine touch to their ensemble.
