THE NECKLACE:
Designed with the woman in mind who loves a elegant vibe to her southwestern jewelry.. I have to admit, Federico & I think alike, knowing there is nothing more drop dead gorgeous than when you pair turquoise & pearls together & by adding these beautiful-naturally formed aquatic gems, takes southwestern jewelry up & over the edge, while giving it a real 'southwestern couture' feel!
Very contemporary in style, this necklace is designed with 15 panels of horizontally laid oval cuts of turquoise that are accented by the wondrously beauty of Baroque pearls. The 5 panels in the center front are designed with a pearl dangle, which happens to give these panels an extra 1/4" of length. (See photos 1,9,10,11,19) The 10 additional panels (5 per side) are designed where the turquoise & baroque pearl are soldered on the same sterling platform, so there is no pearl movement.(See photos 1,6,8,19) The pearls are nice & chunky & sit high above there bezel.
The turquoise & pearls are both secured in their own bezels & sit atop of a contemporary mirror polished finished sterling. Between the contemporary design & this type of finishing, will allow you to wear this in OR out of the southwest without feeling it's too "Southwestern" & you can ONLY wear it with other turquoise pieces. You can try wearing it with contemporary finished pearl earrings or even all sterling earrings/jewelry .
