THE NECKLACE:
Designed with somewhat of a elegant touch but with a modern-day vibe, this necklace was made around a reversible 1930s Buenos Aires holy medal and thoughtfully repurposes authentic 1940s French materials, blending vintage charm with contemporary style.

Similar to a lariat "Y" necklace, this piece was designed in a long, wearable 29.5" length with a graceful 4.50" drop (about 34" total length). The design is mirrored with the same stone materials found along the side line of the neckline, creating a balanced, cohesive look. The entire necklace is constructed from a 1940s fancy link brass chain and period-appropriate findings that originated in France during the war era, lending it authentic vintage character.

The very rare reversible holy medal cross is original and not a replica like many you may find across the internet. The 1.50” round medal is nearly 100 years old and is a vintage “Sacred Heart of Jesus” piece made in Buenos Aires on one side, with “Our Lady of Buenos Aires” depicted on the opposite side. Because of its thoughtful reversible design, the necklace may be worn showing either image, so you can select whichever side of the holy medal suits your preference!

I would call this is a versatile necklace, since you can dress this up with your favorite upscale dress or you can wear it with something a bit more casual !
