THE ARTIST:
Kewa Puebloan artist CHASLYN CRESPIN is a 39 year old woman & happens to be the daughter to "TOREVIA & DELBERT CRESPIN" (See my “NECKLACE/JEWELRY SETS” Categories) listings )Torevia was telling me that it was about 10 years ago that her & Delbert taught the traditional art of mosaic to Chaslyn, but she actually does mosaic work on the side, since she works in the Orthodontist industry during the day.

THE EARRINGS:
A staple to the southwest, no southwestern collection is complete without some Thunderbird jewelry! Cutting & shaping each & every stone/shell by hand, Chaslyn made each of the 4 pairs with a different layout of materials that are then mosaic inlaid atop of a black jet backing. If you zoom in on the main photo, you'll notice that each of the 4 have a different colored head. (This will be how you choose which pair!)
They're perfect for those who are a Cowgirl at heart & are very casual in style. Because of the black jet backing, allows these to be very wearable & light on the lobes! (See weights below)
