DESCRIPTION:

These are not ‘bought & restrung’ beads, but are literally 'Hand Rolled" which are taken time to do..By hand rolling the beads,seems to be a ‘dying art’ since it is extremely time consuming,but if hand workmanship is important to you,as it is with me,you can appreciate these! You need good dexterity,patience & steady hands to do these tiny beads!

With these each & every bead starts from a larger size rock & then is cut into smaller size pieces where then one by one,they are rolled over & over by hand (via grinder)then sculpted,beveled & rounded,rolled over & over until each bead is formed.And even though many times beads can vary per artist,these are perfect in millimetre size & gives them their very even & accurate look!!

They are made of green Nevada turquoise,with Spiny Oyster shell accents..They are strung on a doubled waxed threaded string that is anchored from a small sterling bead.

You get a traditional Pueblo look with these,but without the weight! Because of the lack of metal,,makes them very wearable in weight!

Would make a great gift for the woman that is still made with the power of the hand!
