Federico Jimenez- Rectangular Shape-Subtle Brown-ish Orange Spiny Oyster Cluster-Contemporary Sterling Post Earrings
Federico Jimenez- Rectangular Shape-Subtle Brown-ish Orange Spiny Oyster Cluster-Contemporary Sterling Post Earrings
These are designed in an understated 1.25” long rectangular shape that scream Santa Fe & are designed in a non-dangle style earring that sits close to the ear. The cuts of Spiny Oyster were carefully selected for their precise size & color. The center cut is beautifully beveled & have some of the white running through that is inherent to the shell. The little round clusters are more of a rusty orange that have a darker tonality. This alone, gives more contrast to the overall look.
Perfect for those who love southwestern jewelry on the contemporary, less traditional side & want a hint of color. Great for business lunches, dinners, etc.!

PLEASE NOTE WHAT PRICING IS BASED ON :
Not only have Federico’s prices greatly increased, but what materials (Sterling and stone/shell, etc.) are now costing an artist have gone way up! I just about go into shock every time I am buying these days! They have gotten that high!
Also factored into the price, is Federico’s name, the dues he has paid based on his decades-long reputation in the industry, the quality and grade of the shell, the number of carats and the cost per carat, and of course the sterling weight required to make these. Included as well, is the need to fairly compensate the artisan (and/or staff) for the time, skill, and expertise involved in making the earrings for Federico. These are some of the main elements that together help explain the final price of the earrings.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:
*****I do not consider myself a 'professional photographer" but I do try to give you photos that are 'realistic" in color. I do however find that photographing anything with 'yellow' in it, (greens & oranges) a little harder to photograph, since this color can come up much more vivid than other colors, so I generally have to adjust the saturation levels. Remember, every monitor is different ,so while some can show something to be more vivid ,other monitors can make it look duller. Please go through each photo to see any variation to get an idea.
In order to give you close up photos so I can provide you with all the detail, photos can tend to make the earrings look GIGANTIC & everything is more magnified & exaggerated than in actuality.. So to get an accurate idea of how big these are, please either check them out being worn to get a rough idea (photos 2 & 7) or you can pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements.
