THE EARRINGS:

These are uniquely designed so that, rather than making an individual bezel for each pearl, a scallop-like bezel is formed on both sides atop the base with the center left open. The channel-set pearl garlands rest in that central space and the bezel is then gently crimped, producing the distinctive “Pearls in a Pod” design. Because of this technique, the pearls lay low at a very even, precise height. The pearls are white-white & are set in a contemporary mirror polished finished sterling.

They are not an over-the-top earring, nor would they be considered ‘loud’ or overly dramatic; instead they feature a simple, refined elegance that transitions effortlessly from casual daytime wear, to your most sophisticated, high-end events. Their timeless style also makes them an excellent choice for a bride on her wedding day.

Not only have Federico’s prices increased, but the cost of what artists are now having to pay for materials, has gone up as well. (Sterling & Stone) These things are what are reflected in the price for these.

With the cost of sterling going into ‘increase’ mode and literally being out of control, the rising cost is reflected in what artists have to now must pay per gram or ounce for the metal.. Artists are now charging more because of this.

Also factored into the pricing, is the artist’s name and reputation, the number of carats and the cost per carat for the materials used.. Also included is the need to compensate the artisan (And or staff) for their time and expertise required to create these.
