Sometimes a artist has to take a supporting role by acknowledging that nature is hard to beat & when you got something so unique & attractive,the sterling work should be kept simple so that the material used can have the total spotlight solely on them in order to accentuate the material's beauty!

Personally, I am always amazed at the 'gifts' our planet offers us that have such beauty & it's when I look at these, it makes me appreciate all that beauty that much more..

How these multi blister pearls develop like they do, is when the pearl grows between the shell and the soft tissue of the oyster & what happens then is it ends up becoming one with the shell. What they remind me of is if you poured paint onto a dish that had pearls in it & then turned it downward, so that anything in the paint's path would be captured !! (in this case,the pearls)It gives the pearls a look as if they are frozen in time! They're like an abstract watercolor 'pearl' painting! Nature is actually where you'll find the best "Art" & where most painters get their most inspirations from!

The pearl medallion drop is a beautiful golden-champagne color & has a fine smooth bezel around the perimeter & is anchored from one of Federico's 3 leaf sterling designs that comes from Oaxaca..The bezel has a light gold wash that was added to compliment the gold color found naturally in the pearl..If you would rather wear a post,(where there is less pulling on the ear) you can always take the leaf design out of the hole that's at the top of the pearls & replace it with a post stud,(all sterling,a pearl stud,etc..)
