Having "Federico" written all over them, these are made in his signature "BOLD-LOOK AT ME-STATEMENT" size & just like many of his pieces, these too, are bound to have an impact on others!

They are designed with 'rarely used' marquise cuts of Mediterranean red coral that dominate the overall look of the earring & play a major role to their presence. Anchored from the cluster top that shares these same cuts is a big 2-1/2' round hoop that is double lined with 2 marquise sizes. The smaller cuts follow along the center inner hole, while the large 1/2" long cuts lay along the perimeter. A vertically laid oval cut is accented in the center. Each cut was carefully hand selected to create these powerhouse earrings!

Federico is known to give you hefty portions of both metal & materials, so there's a good amount of both in these. They do have some weight,so please be sure you go over the weights before purchasing. Anyone in this business knows how much the price of Coral has climbed to & has gotten so ridiculously expensive, which makes it unaffordable for many artists to even consider buying. In the last few years, Coral's cost has skyrocketed up to 500% & compared to a few years ago when it was at about $250 a gram,it is now over $1000 a gram. Coral is now on the "Rare" list & no longer can it be fished, nor brought in the USA. (These reasons are reflected in the price) Everyday the price goes up & up & will never be the price tomorrow, as it is today & keeps rising.. Coral has become a collectible material because of this.
