Navajo artisan Carol Wylie is now in her 50's & has been making jewelry for over 25 years now..It is very obvious in her work,how 25 years has paid off & what you are going to get from her is perfection & extremely precise work, where it matters to her how the piece is made.. Her attention to detail gives each piece a very uniform look so the outcome is very balanced . Carol lives on the Navajo reservation in western New Mexico..I have carried many pieces by her over the years & there hasn't been a time where I've haven't been impressed!

DESCRIPTION:

These fabulously designed long turquoise earrings are made with hand picked cuts of Egyptian turquoise that Carol carefully chose that practically have the same identity from one earring to the other! So they're perfectly mirrored, which is very Impressive to do in order to match them this well! (Zoom in on photos) The cuts have so much character, where you can see all the beautiful warm red/brown matrix color that Egyptian turquoise is known for.

Based on the stone layout,the earrings have a somewhat "Navajo Maiden" type appearance & are made in a 3 tiered design of various shaped stones . They're traditional Navajo, but have a very modern edginess that will allow these to be worn in or out of the southwest! The stones are set in a contemporary mirror polished finish.

They are simply elegant & have such a dynamic upscale feel,while bringing out your most feminine side!!
