Getting harder and harder to find these days, all these exquisite cuts came from the late Larry Cooley’s remarkable collection. For those of you who follow me closely, you already know the impressive collection he had, and you’re also aware of how he was the artist’s “vendor of choice” when they were searching for the highest quality turquoise to incorporate into their own unique designs. Larry’s turquoise was mined several decades ago, during a time when natural turquoise was more abundant and featured the highest grades available—pieces that didn’t require any stabilization. After Larry passed away, his entire collection was put up for sale, but because of Federico’s longstanding relationship and deep connection with Larry and his family, the family decided to sell everything exclusively to Federico. However, this acquisition didn’t come without paying a top dollar price (This quality is reflected in the price)
Each cut was carefully and individually hand picked for their beautifully elongated oval shape, ensuring exceptional quality and uniqueness. What truly distinguishes one cut from the next is their remarkable “one of a kind” color and distinct character.
