I have to admit, what really caught my eye with both of these earrings was not only for their signature Santa Fe'an/Western edgy look, but the stones that were hand picked for each pair, really speak volumes when it comes to the killer character & color they have! And it's rocks such as these, with this type of character & color being the main reason as to why Sonoran turquoise is so widely sought after by buyers who ache to get their hands on just about anything made with it.!
Both are made with 2 types of polychrome Sonoran turquoise, where the blue tops are Sonoran Mountain & the bottoms are Sonoran Gold. The top stone is actually soldered on the same sheet that holds the cross (See backside photo) & which then acts as the anchor for the luscious green drop. Both earrings are made the same way, but what separates them, is the shape of the drop. Design 1 has a tear drop shape cut, whereas the bottom on Design 2 has a oval cut drop.
They are very wearable on the ears (See weights below) & will make a great anytime, anywhere, anyplace "go to" earring!
