What better way to use some old half dollar coins,but to make them into some cool looking hoop earrings!!
Everything from the coins used to make these is removed but the ridges on the edges.(see photo 5) They are then cut out with a very deliberate, "free form" cut out center,which validates their "hand made" factor,thus creating a 'hoop' earring.

Both coin hoops are anchored from a little concho top & both are laid in a high bezel that sits atop of the coins,where one pair is made with 5 oval cuts that graduate in size of bright blue "Sleeping Beauty" turquoise that has had no form of treatment to them & are all natural. The other is made with 5 little 3 mm cabochons that are even in size of Italian red Coral..The color is not red,red like some coral,but has a slight red/orange color.

The look can't be any better especially when put against Don's signature hand finished matte/brushed finish!! They really couldn't be more beautiful & are truly something you can appreciate when you have them in hand.. They have an undeniable southwest look that can go with your most ripped denim to designer!

They are not over the top in size,but very wearable,which will make them a great "Go-To" earring!
