Being just about as wide as they are long, there is something deeply beautiful about the way these pear/teardrop-shaped cuts were thoughtfully arranged in an alternating, reversed pattern, where the tips point upward & then lay downward. The earrings are composed entirely of those pear-shaped stones and smaller ovals, which together form a striking, triangular design that feels both balanced and inventive.
Made from only the finest Mediterranean red coral available, the color ranges from a true red to a richer, deep “red‑red” hue rather than a lighter orange-red. The cuts are clean and I do not detect the usual black markings or small holes often seen in coral.
Their contemporary, non‑traditional styling allows them to complement any southwestern coral collection while remaining versatile enough to be worn in settings beyond the Southwest without appearing overly regional.

This Italian Coral is from "Old Stock", and anyone person that’s well connected in the industry, knows then how much the price of Coral has climbed to! It has gotten so ridiculously expensive, which makes it unaffordable for many artists to even consider buying. The cost of "GOOD" Coral as what’s in these, has literally skyrocketed in price & is now well over $1000 a gram for the premium qualities. THE REASON: Because Coral is now on the "Rare" list & no longer can it be fished, nor brought in the USA. (These reasons are reflected in the price) Everyday the price goes up & the less availability, the higher the price will go! Coral has become a collectible material for these reasons mentioned.
