Hanging from a single pearl top is a 1-3/4” Round baroque pearl cluster hoop formed into an elegant circular silhouette. The pearls are all in their natural, irregular shape, each having their own unique contours and like a fingerprint or a diamond, no 2 are alike.. Unlike traditional perfectly round pearls, these pearls show pronounced character and individuality, offering a contemporary, fashion-forward look with a chic, modern sensibility.

Hand-picked for their beautiful luster, these pearls appear white at first glance, though when you look at them inches away from you, they reveal a very subtle grayish-blue tint. Each pearl is set in a contemporary, mirror-polished 0.999% FINE/PURE silver bezel. (This is the equivalate to what 24K is to gold) The rest of the silver is sterling.

I do want to point out that there’s a substantial amount of metal in these earrings. Since the weight of these earrings will sit directly on your ear, you’ll want to check the weight first so you don’t end up with something too heavy. Only you know what feels comfortable on your own lobes, so a good approach is to take one of your own earrings that’s nearly at the limit of comfort, weigh it, and compare that weight to this pair.. But if you do have “veteran” ears, they are definitely worth tolerating the weight!

Unfortunately Federico has had to raise his prices since the price of sterling (& gold) has gone up and fluctuates on a daily basis. Many pieces have more than doubled in price because of this. Between the price that metal is costing artists, plus the rising cost for materials, there was no other choice but to increase everything.

The pricing is dictated also by Federico’s name and his decades old reputation in the industry. Also included is the need to compensate the artisan (And or staff) for the time and expertise required to make the earrings for Federico. These are just some of the elements that together explain and contribute to the higher final price of these earrings.
