I do want to mention that for their size, these do have a bit of weight to them. Having worked with Federico for years, he is not one to skimp on his materials, nor on sterling, and he definitely gives you some serious proportions for your money. With that said, these are made with a generous amount of sterling, so they are substantial and carry a good amount of heft. (About 1/2 an ounce for each earring.) The clip on’s are no problem, but being the posts weight will sit directly on the ear, you want to go over the weight, just so you’re not buying something too heavy. Only you know what weight your ears find most comfortable, so I would suggest taking one of your own earrings that’s on the brink of being too heavy, weighing it, and then comparing that weight to the post pair in particular..

Not only have Federico’s prices increased, but the cost of sterling & gold have gone up in price as well and fluctuates on a daily basis. The pricing is dictated also by Federico’s name and his decades old reputation in the industry.
