BRACELET PROVENANCE:

Originally purchased by Dr. Consuelo Ayala near Garland, TX.  Consuelo was a psychiatrist in the Texas mental wellness system. During her study years, she developed “Freidrich’s Ataxia”, similar to MS. She switched from general medicine as her health deteriorated. She was eventually confined to a wheelchair, drove her fitted, adaptive van but still served the community until she passed away in 2019. 

After retiring, she discovered this bracelet along with the 14k gold and diamond slide necklace that matched, (See last 2 photos-Will soon be posted) and she carefully saved every penny to buy them. Sadly, her life was cut short, and she never had the time to enjoy wearing them for as long as she had hoped. That’s when her niece here in Santa Fe, brought them to me.

THE BRACELET:

Very minimalist in style, this was made in Italy & is designed in 14k solid gold. It’s called a ‘Flat Omega’ & has 2 security lock features on both sides of the bracelet for added security. Because of it’s straight perimeter, you have the choice of wearing this alone OR will make the perfect bracelet for stacking it with other gold bracelets!

My guess is that it seemed Consuelo might have wore the bracelet more than the necklace, because when I received it, there were surface scratches on the gold. So to avoid the buyer from having to spend money to take the scratches out, I took it to my professional jewelry repair man, who made it look like new again & buffed all the scratches out! (The scratches were taken out AFTER I photographed the bracelet.)

CONDITION: Perfect-Wearable Condition-All Parts working-Clasps are strong-No kinks-No bends in the Gold-I recently had all surface scratches removed!

HALLMARK: 14k-Italy on one end-On the tongue itself, is a name that I can’t read (I believe it may be the company who made it?)
