Native American Artisan "T"- Incredible Character!! Vintage Natural Green Kingman Turquoise with Blue Moon Turquoise Cluster-Traditionally Made- Heavy Gauge Sterling Belt Buckle-Up To: 1-3/4" Belt

$1,200.00

THE BUCKLE:

What I find impressive about this buckle is that it has several notable qualities going for it. At the top of the list is the amazing turquoise the artist hand-picked for the buckle, followed by the impeccable workmanship that creates its precise, uniform look — and finally, the substantial weight. This buckle is made from heavy-gauge sterling and actually weighs more than some of the cuffs I carry! It’s definitely a hearty, well-made buckle.

The 2.20” center cut is an ultra-fabulous slice of natural green Kingman turquoise and carries its own distinct “fingerprint—one-of-a-kind” character that makes it instantly recognizable. The bronzy-coppery matrix is truly striking and even shows an almost metallic sheen. It displays a prominent, heavily concentrated amount of copper-ore host matrix, a hallmark of Arizona turquoise, since these local mines are literally saturated with copper.

The high-grade natural cluster cuts are from the Blue Moon Mine, which is relatively rare and comes from Esmeralda County, Nevada, near Tonopah where the Royston Mine is located. Some of the cuts display their signature fine black matrix markings. Placing these two differently colored turquoise cuts side by side provides striking, genuine contrast, with each color subtly enhancing and bringing out the beauty of the other.

The buckle will look just as fabulous on a man as it will a woman & fits up to a 1.75” belt. Whether you’re a oilman, rancher or gallery owner, or maybe one who just loves the more casual look of Santa Fe, this then will be a real keeper! Also, this will be the perfect call when you want to wear it with some denim, a crisp white shirt & some boots!

PROVENANCE: This came from a Santa Fe collector who exclusively deals in only Native jewelry. It is used. It’s not too too old, but it has some years on it.

I do not consider myself a 'professional photographer" but I do try my hardest to give you photos that are 'realistic" in color.. But please realize that all monitors are different, so the materials can look brighter (or duller) from one computer to the next.

To provide you with close up photos providing you with all the fine detail, pictures tend to make the item look GIGANTIC & everything is more magnified than in actuality. .So to get an accurate idea of how big this is, please pull out a tape measure or ruler & compare to my given measurements listed above.
