Serape Girl, makes hand made quality sarapes, that are made in the mountains of mainland Mexico..They are made by a family that lives amongst the volcanos & pyramids & uses a huge, rustic old style loom..It took "Serape Girl" literally years,to find this family that could weave without the threads coming unraveled when they went to cut their garments..When the weaving is finished, they are then transferred to La Paz,Mexico, where they are sewn & completed & where the various Indonesian sarong designs of Mexican motifs for the interiors, are then attached.
